Kodak Clear Coating
The proprietary top coat repels dirt, grime and fingerprints and makes cleaning a snap. Distracting reflections are eliminated so your patients' eyes shine clear and bright. With ordinary lenses, approzimately 10% of light is reflected away and doesn't reach the eyes. With KODAK CleAR coating, 99% of available light reaches the eyes. KODAK CleAR coating is rugged enough to resist cracking, crazing and peeling. Plus, it provides durable protection against scratches.
Zeiss AR Coating
Carat Advantage is comprised of Foundation hard coating and anti-reflective Super ET coating then topped with Zeiss’ new advanced super hydrophobic coating. These three components combine to provide excellent scratch resistance, superior anti-reflective (AR) performance and enhanced durability for the lens.
