Policy / Warranty
SRC Warranty / NON Adapt
- SRC lenses are warranted for normal use for one year and can be replaced one time with same Rx at no charge. Additional scratch remakes (after first time) will be billed at 50%
- Transitions lenses have a 90-day Non-Adapt warranty and are warranted for one year for scratches and can be replaced one time with same Rx at no charge. Additional scratch remakes (after the first time) will be billed at 50%.
- Progressive lenses have a 90 day Non-adapt warranty and are warranted for one year for scratches and be replaced one time with same Rx at no charge. Additional scratch remakes (after the first time) will be billed at 50%.
NOTE: The SRC Warranty does not apply to sports, safety or mirror coated lenses
Anti-Reflection Warranty
- Standard AR coated lenses have a 1 year warranty
- Premium AR coated lenses have a 2 year warranty.
Any professional change within 90 days for any reason will be NO CHARGE. Additional remakes will be billed at 50% Lenses returned for scratched will be remade 1 time at NO CHARGE. Additional remakes will be billed at 50% as long as frame and Rx remain the same
Professional Remake Policy
- Rx changes: New lenses will be billed in full and 50% courtesy discount if theoriginal lenses were made within the prior 90 days. Please return the original lenses and computer invoice. Credit will not be issued without a copy of the invoice.
- Cancellations: If the lenses are not yet in process, the Rx may be changed or cancelled without cost. If the lenses have been processed, a professional courtesy discount of 50% will apply.
- Telephone Rx's: When the Rx is taken over the phone, in order to avoid any errors, the Rx will be read back to you. Since either party can make a mistake, these errors will be invoiced at 50% when remakes are necessary.
TO RECEIVE CREDIT, OLD LENSES MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE REMAKE WITH A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE
Payment
- Payments: to your account can be made by check or credit card. The terms at Cherry Optical are discount by 12th net 30. Any account beyond the 45 days following the statement date will be placed on hold until account is current.
- Promotions: All manufacturers and Cherry Optical promotions for gift cards and other rewards will be filled as long as account is current.
Frames, Treatments & Shipping
- Patient Frames: Cherry Optical will not accept responsibility for previously worn frames. These frames may not withstand the stress of insertion of new lenses. It is your responsibility to evaluate all old frames being sent for lenses to be edged. We urge you to advise your patient of this before sending. We also do not process lenses for non-ophthalmic quality frames.
- Defective Frames: Defective frames will be returned to you to give you an opportunity to pursue a credit with the frame manufacture.
- Treatment of Enclosed Lenses: We are not responsible for any lens more than 30 days old and are sent back for any additional treatment.
- Shipping: A $4.50 shipping charge will be charged daily.
